Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy of Lumo Studios LLC. We keep it short because our data practices are simple: we collect what we need to build your site, manage your Google Business Profile, and answer your emails — and we don't sell anything to anyone.

What we collect via the contact form

When you fill out a contact form on any Lumo Studios site, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business name
• Your current website (if any)
• Your industry
• Your answers to intake questions — the services you offer, the tools or equipment lines you use, your service area, and anything else you tell us about your business

What we collect as a customer

Once you sign up, we keep everything above, plus:

• Billing information, processed by Stripe. We don't store your card number. Stripe does.
• Content you send us by email — photos, copy, updates, service changes, seasonal notes, anything you want on the site.

How we use it

We use what you send us to deliver the service: building and maintaining your site, replying to your emails, billing you for the subscription, and occasionally showing you relevant examples from other sites we've built in your trade.

That's the whole list. We don't use your data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

How we store it

Your data lives in our internal systems, primarily AWS DynamoDB and Amazon S3, hosted in the United States. Access is restricted to the Lumo Studios team members who need it to do their jobs.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the service providers we use to deliver the service:

• Stripe, for billing
• Amazon Web Services, for hosting and storage
• Domain registrars, for registering and managing your domain
• Google, for site visibility (Search Console), basic analytics, and management of your Google Business Profile (governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy)

We never sell your data. We've never sold data. We will never sell data.

Cookies and analytics

We use minimal analytics on our own sites and on customer sites to understand traffic — page views, referrers, rough geography. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not run retargeting pixels.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@lumo-studios.com. We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Retention

• Inquiry data (from contact forms, where you didn't become a customer): kept for 24 months, then deleted.
• Customer data: kept for the life of the subscription, plus 24 months after cancellation, then deleted.

If you want your data deleted sooner, email us.

Children

Lumo Studios LLC is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. For material changes, we'll email you with at least 30 days' notice before they take effect.
